In addition to the previously scheduled three lecture/concerts that the New York-based country singer/songwriter Tennessee Walt will be performing in Bay View, Michigan, this summer, a concert of his original songs has been scheduled for Saturday, July 23. All four programs (Bristol & Beyond: The Birth of Country Music on July 18, Hanks a Lot!: The Golden Age of Country Music on July 20, Riding with the Outlaws on July 22 and Sounds Like Country from Here: Songs by Tennessee Walt on July 23) will be presented at Voorhies Hall in Bay View, a historic 19th-century resort community on the coast of Lake Michigan.
