Amid the lockdown, more than 1,000 country fans from around the country--and especially around the tristate area--tuned in for Tennessee Walt's A Distant Country, a special livestream benefiting tristate-area libraries (more than 40 of whom co-hosted the show). Performing live in his living room in Queens, N.Y., Walt performed 70 minutes of classic country (and a few original tunes, including the new "A Gray Day in Lockdown City") to an overwhelmingly positive reception.
