Ending a three-year run, the Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island played its final performance of "The World According to Gilbert & Sullivan" this evening at Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays. A cast of five, plus music director/accompanist Thomas Z. Shepard and guest artist Vincenzo Fiorito (from the company's recently closed production of "The Gondoliers"), were well received by a large and enthusiastic audience. Shepard, director Gayden Wren and cast members Martin Fuller, Terry Hochler and Chris Jurak were featured in the entire run of the show, with Fuller, Shepard and Wren never missing a performance.
