The legendary crowd producer Thomas Z. Shepard, a 12-time Grammy winner who's the world's greatest producer of Broadway original-cast albums, held a large crowd spellbound at the New York Society Library with his lecture program "Recording Broadway: An Evening with Thomas Z. Shepard." Shepard's in-depth descriptions of the making of the original-cast albums for "Sweeney Todd" and "Follies Live" were particular favorites with the audience, which also provided a lively question-and-answer session.
