A glittering crowd of invited guests gathered at the Central Park West apartment of Jenny Lawrence to celebrate the publication of Sara Holliday's debut novel, "A Thousand Dances: A Novel of the British Blues Boom." The crowd heard Holliday read from the book, discuss its creation and even sing two original songs written especially for the book by lyricist Gayden Wren and composer Paul V. Patanella. Early word on the book is extremely positive, and the party guests were unanimously enthusiastic about Holliday's presentation.
Lawrence is a trustee of the New York Society Library, for which Holliday serves as head of events.
