The Internet trailer for Sara Holliday's new book "A Thousand Dances: A Novel of the British Blues Boom" has debuted on YouTube.
The book, to be published by Coral Press on September 21, is set in 1963 London, and centers on Nick Spinnery, a 17-year-old besotted by the new, dynamic sounds of the British blues boom and the bands that will soon headline the British Invasion, including the Rolling Stones, the Detours (soon to be the Who), the Yardbirds and more.
The trailer features the song "Ready, Steady, Go (Tonight)" by the contemporary Mod band R.A.F.
