MATINEE AUDIENCE ROCKS TO 'PATIENCE'

A matinee audience heavy on seniors and young people responded warmly to the Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island's 2018 production of "Patience" at the Jeanne Rimsky Theatre at the Landmark on Main Street this afternoon.

Particularly popular with the audience were Vincenzo Fiorito as the Duke--especially his soaring "Your Maiden Hearts, ah, Do Not Steel"--and Rebecca Skolnick as a zany, madcap Lady Ella.

The next stop in the Company's 2018 season will be the Theater at the Riverside Church in Manhattan, on Saturday, June 30.
