Tennessee Walt brought his unique brand of voice-and-piano classic country to a large and appreciative audience at the East Meadow Jewish Center this afternoon.
Because the program was only an hour long, Walt didn't do one of his standard programs, but offered an ad-hoc mix of classic songs from all three of his shows, a few that he's never included in a show and a handful of originals. The show opened with the June Carter/Merle Kilgore classic "Ring of Fire" and ended with Walt's original "Christmas in July."
