John Mayall, the legendary British blues guitarist and leader of the Bluesbreakers, who was a mentor to Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood and Walter Trout, has read Sara Holliday's upcoming book "A Thousand Dances: A Story of the British Blues Boom."
Mayall's verdict: “A very well researched novel that also captures so much of the London club scene in the sixties and the music that emerged from it.”
